ALBUM OUT NOW! Give it a listen!
A studio designed with not only recording my band, but full on experimentation in mind...
Started in a house, then a dorm room, then a basement, now a dorm again. Soon to move into an apartment.
Also in the studio:
AKG Drum Mics
Various Other Mics
Rane MC22 Compressor
Behringer FCV100 Volume Pedal
Behringer MA400 Personal Vocal Monitor
Digitech GSP 21 PRO Guitar Processor
Piles and piles of free VST plug-ins.
Flemmpire Productions Studio Gear:
Novation A station
So incredibly useful. Deep bass, piercing leads, blah blah blah. Love it.
Alesis SR16
Got it in fourth grade... Slightly unreliable, but damn cool swing as a midi controller (Sadly, the tempo sync is a bit wonky).
Behringer PX3000
Simple, cheap patchbay. Completely changed the workflow.
Behringer AMP800
Headphone routing for multiple guitarists. Sounds like crap, but is useful enough.
Focusrite Liquid Mix
This thing is awesome!! I couldn't say what the originals sound like, but I couldn't really care either. Each of the compressors on this has a different feel to it, and it's nice having so many options with no major CPU hit.
Image Line Maximus
A compressor... that's fun? Didn't think it was possible.
U-HE Zebra 2
Pretty much the greatest software synth around.
U-HE UHBIK
These things sound awesome and are just pleasant to look at. The ambience processor was worth the price alone.

Cycling 74 Pluggo
I don't have Pluggo, but I have the full Max/MSP, which is not listed.
Audio Damage Dr. Device
I was unsure of it until I started using it. It's so much more than a filter/delay.

Image Line FL Studio 8
An unbelievable update. Now it really has everything in one.

Camel Audio Alchemy
This and Zebra are the two best synths I've used. Zebra's good for bread + butter, this is amazing for all things experimental.
Cakewalk SONAR 6 Studio edition

Vember Audio Surge
Makes excellent digital sounds... doesn't try to convince you it's analog in any way.
Audio Damage Kombinat
Awesome distortion unit. Even with Ohmicide around, this thing still has its own character
Audio Damage Ronin
AD are on a roll. This is superb. Can get some wild, unpredictable results, and doesn't crash under pressure.
PSP audioware Nitro
Totally worth the $10. I prefer Quad Frohmage, but this has a delay and bit-crusher, along with cool matrix routing. They compliment each other well.
Sonalksis TBK2
Easily the best bit-crusher around (Unless you count using a Virus as an effect...). 4 flavors, all of which have their own character.
Applied Acoustics Ultra Analog VA-1

Audio Damage BigSeq2
Fantastic effect. Logical lay-out, and encourages experimentation. Only problem is a heavy CPU hit.
FXpansion Guru
Incredible. It was imposing at first, but I slowly figured out all sorts of tricks and shortcuts. It's not going to replace Battery, but rather compliment it.
FabFilter One
I had the free version from CM, but Fabfilter had a 5 day sale for 5 euros, and it was worth upgrading for polyphony alone. A great single-osc support synth.
ImageLine Gross Beat
Probably the most intuitive interface I've seen on a beat mangler. Sounds great on all sorts of things.
D16 Group Phoscyon
Picked one up for a bargain price. It's worth it just for the awesome built-in distortion.
GForce Minimonsta
Completely blew me away. I won this for free. Usually I stray away from emulations and less-experimental synths, but this fits onto tracks so nicely. The vibe it gives goes perfect with guitars.
ImageLine Morphine
Very warm, fun additive synth. Usually I hate additive synths, but this is very rewarding.
Image Line Edison
Using religiously with the new FL8. Very good stuff.
Image Line FL Studio 6
Producer Edition of the most underrated software in the world (Even though tons of people use it).
Info@Gearjunkies | Other studios with Image Line FL Studio 6
Image Line DirectWave
A soft-sampler that samples.
ConcreteFX Kubik
Wave + Wavetable drawing = fun, deep tweaking. Lovely, warm tone.
Wusik Wusikstation 3.0
The awesome group-buy is over, but this is one fantastic synth. Good for all sorts of sounds.

Livelab LiveSlice
Hours upon hours spent chopping up loops I didn't know could be useful. Buy immediately.
Bomb Factory BF Essential Meter Bridge

energyXT XT1
Modular routing... for everything. No soft studio should be without this. Actually, no studio, period.
Raw Material Software Tracktion
Got it for free. Still use it, even with Pro Tools around.
Info@Gearjunkies | Other studios with Raw Material Software Tracktion
Korg Legacy Collection
Worth it just for the MS-20.

Native Instruments Komplete 3
Komplete 2 was the first thing I bought. Still nothing better.
Info@Gearjunkies | Other studios with Native Instruments Komplete 3
Audio Damage Deverb
Definitely more of a niche unit than Reverence. That being said, when this thing is needed, it does its job.
Audio Damage Reverence
Very good sounding reverb. Very low CPU hit, so it makes its way onto tracks.
Info@Gearjunkies | Other studios with Audio Damage Reverence
Audio Damage Dubstation
Really cool delay. Took me a bit to get used to it, but it has a real hardware feel to it. It's hard to explain, but the vibe on it is unreal.
Info@Gearjunkies | Other studios with Audio Damage Dubstation
Native Instruments Kore 2
Software update. Improves Kore in all sorts of ways. A lot more fun to use now.
Info@Gearjunkies | Other studios with Native Instruments Kore 2
U-HE More Feedback Machine V2.0
Obviously, I'm a delay freak. This one rules, and is totally worth the money. It has it's own thing going on. A lot of the time it doesn't even sound like delay.
Info@Gearjunkies | Other studios with U-HE More Feedback Machine V2.0
Native Instruments Kore
Made tweaking softsynths as fun as hardware.

OhmForce Mobilohm Phaser
Spits sounds out everywhere.

VirSyn miniTERA
Got it for free. Very versatile, considering it's almost untweakable (Most controls are hidden so that you'll want Tera 3)
Renoise Renoise 1.5
Version 2.1. The best tool for beatslicing. Absolutely worth the learning curve.
Audio Damage Liquid
Smooth and massive flanging... Awesome value for the price.
Image Line FL Studio 7
See my review for 6. You know I love it.

Bomb Factory BF Essential Tuner

Adobe Audition 3
Used for mastering and creating samples from songs.
Native Instruments Komplete 4
FM8, Absynth 4, Battery 3, and Akoustik Piano made this a no-brainer during the sale.
Info@Gearjunkies | Other studios with Native Instruments Komplete 4
Audio Damage Replicant
If you like Glitch (the dBlue plug-in)... you NEED this.
Info@Gearjunkies | Other studios with Audio Damage Replicant
NuSofting BDM
A very, very cool plug-in. Try the demo, it's a blast.
Native Instruments Komplete 5
Massive is unbelievable.
Info@Gearjunkies | Other studios with Native Instruments Komplete 5
Vember Audio Short Circuit
What is it with brilliant softsamplers being released for free these days?
Info@Gearjunkies | Other studios with Vember Audio Short Circuit
OhmForce Symptohm
Holy CRAP! Every sound I throw into this thing comes out brilliant.
XT Software energyXT2
Even better than the original, and the original is one of my favorite pieces of gear!
Bomb Factory BF Essential Clip Remover

OhmForce Hemathom FreqShifter
I don't really use much pitchshifting, but this also has some very cool LFO controlled effects for gating drums and other craziness.
Info@Gearjunkies | Other studios with OhmForce Hemathom FreqShifter
Waves Musicians Bundle
Supertap + Doubler = Mmmmm. By some "mistake" over at Waves, I got this for $40.

Bomb Factory BF Essential Correlation Meter
Info@Gearjunkies | Other studios with Bomb Factory BF Essential Correlation Meter
OhmForce Predathom Distortion
A lot of people say Ohmicide made this obsolete, but I think this is still perfect for beautiful warmth for drum tracks.
Info@Gearjunkies | Other studios with OhmForce Predathom Distortion
OhmForce Ohmicide:Melohman
Tried the demo, ended up buying every Ohm Force product. This is the coolest distortion effect I've ever used.
Info@Gearjunkies | Other studios with OhmForce Ohmicide:Melohman
OhmForce Quad Frohmage
I wanted a Sherman Filterbank... then I bought this and don't really want one anymore. Insane for tweaking, but also comes with hundreds of bad-ass presets.
Info@Gearjunkies | Other studios with OhmForce Quad Frohmage
Edirol PCR-A30
This actually used to be my audio interface. Excellent controller, but thank God I have my Digi now.
Korg MS20 controller
Ya know what? I love this thing so much I'm willing to plunk down $900 just to buy a real one.
Alesis Control Pad
Awesome. Now I can program MIDI parts with sticks. Easy to program and tweak, too.
Korg nanoKONTROL
I travel a lot, and often go for weeks without my trusty Remote SL Zero. This should fill that void.
Tascam US-428
I don't have this exact unit... Instead, I have a hard-disk portastudio with the exact same layout.
Digidesign Digi 002 Rack
The heart of the studio, really. 8 ins and 8 outs are great for when you're jamming with friends or recording drums.
