Changelog
| 2009-07-01 13:50:29 | Today I added Audio Ease Cabinet to my software setup. Great value for money plugin. Aimed at guitarists, but do try this on synths as well. Works very good! |
| 2009-05-13 08:47:19 | This week I finally got the update to Cubase Studio 5. Installing without a glitch and running now very smoothly. Yippy-yah-hey! |
| 2009-04-08 10:04:54 | This week I added the SubBoomBass plugin from Rob Papen to my setup. As you might see from my setup I am a big fan of the Rob Papen VSTi\'s. They have just that little extra quality I appreciate. |
| 2009-01-30 11:30:33 | Just added the RG VSTi plugin from Rob Papen. It is a plugin for generating guitar sounds. Very useful as I don\'t play the guitar... at all! |
| 2008-12-30 13:40:31 | Just got my Cubase 4 Studio software in and I love it. My first glance at it after installation was very satisfactory. I love the new features and especially the much improved FX automation. Sweet! Plus I installed Battery 2 (not 3 alas) from Native Instruments. With this I abandoned the Linplug RM4 drum tool. Not that it is bad or so, I just like the way Battery operates. It is a personal thing! |
| 2008-12-29 14:42:18 | I am not very much into creating own sounds. I am just not good at it. So presets are very important to me. Having tried out the free Kore Player from Native Instruments, I was very, very surprised by the quality of the free sounds that came along with it. After I downloaded the free extra sound compilation soundpack, I was convinced of the high quality that NI represents. So to get some more cool dance sounds I bought the FM8 Transitiens Soundpack. I love it! |
| 2008-12-18 16:33:42 | My old audio computer died on me. Well not really but I got tired of it because it did not perform how I would like it to perform, so I took everything out, that had any value, and put it in my regular PC. This was a good opportunity to walk through my set up and keep everything that I would use and get rid of all the plugins I never ever (would) use. Back to a mean and lean (software) set up. |
| 2008-03-09 12:25:50 | Recently I bought a Novation ReMOTE SL 49 Compact midicontroller for my software set up. |
| 2007-07-25 11:37:29 | Last year I sold the Korg Triton just to focus more on a complete software studio set up. |

Native Instruments Kore Player
I tried out the free Kore Player once and was amazed by the High Quality sounds the free player had. I purchased the FM8 TRANSIENT ATTACKS Soundpack and this works perfectly. I am very happy with it.

This is a very interesting VSTi plugin. It generates pretty real sounding guitar sounds.

This is a plugin intended for guitarists, ... but I don't own any! This plugin also works great on synths and other audio inputs. Great value for money!
