General equipment is as listed but my main DAW, Cubase 4, is running on a self built PC: Asus P5K-E MoBo, Intel Q6600 quad core CPU, 4Gb RAM, 2Tb disk space across 4 HDs, nVidia 8800GT based video driving Dell 21" (1600x1200) and 24" (1920x1200) LCDs on gas lift "anglepoise" arms. Studio owner: nappyd Studio type: Home/Project Studio Kung Pow 01 Project Studio for tracking keyboards and demoing songs. I have a vintage wurli, and Hammond/Leslie rig, as well as a massive collection of pedals and outboard gear. Our main DAW of choice is Ableton Live, but we're also set up with Nuendo & DP. My basic approach is to use simple sound sources and waveshape / sound design with effects. Current fav's include Line 6 Echo Pro, Electrix Repeater, ZVex Fuzz Factory, Digitech Whammy, Nord Electro. Currently I'm coveting: Access Virus Rack XL, Korg BX3, Moog Prodigy, Alesis Andromeda, Dave Smith Poly Evolver, Moogerfooger Analog Delay & a Eventide Eclipse. |
